Subject: Building a strong foundation




Raw feeding is the best way to feed any k9 . Therefore all exotic boerboels are weaned from to a raw diet. This evenings meal is cow gullet. We have the gullet hanging as working drive activity for our puppies. Raw feeding naturally forces a pup to chew far more than it would on a kibble diet and that shapes our pups strong head muscles. The shaking and pulling action builds strong neck and shoulders. By hanging the gullet we also force the young pup to works its back legs a lot more than it would eating kibble from a bowl. The rumble and tussle helps build solid bones.The entire gullet for my 6 six week old pups takes 25 minutes.The activity leaves the pups exhausted and ready to rest. They sleep hard and recover well.Our goal is to build a solid foundation by keeping the pup lean and at a good healthy active weight.
