You don't mention sheilds here. I assume TIE Defenders are therefore sheildless, which would tens me toward them getting screwed.

OK, I'll give you improved manuverability, the speed of .9-.95c is comparable with impulse is it not. So these things could buzz around quite nicely,
Runabouts have rear facing phasers, do shuttles? If so what the TIE comes in for an attack from the rear and gets blasted?
What is a squadron size?

This is the thing by my reckoning a Nebula could field, at least 20 shuttles, since the Enterprise (assuming E) has 36 other craft aboard, what is a squadron of TIES number? I know its more but what exactly.
