You know I would have to agree with you on that point. But standard shields are what I was refering too. Because according to PhysicsMAN all a trek ship woulsd have to do is dail up a frequency to match a Turbolaser bolt, and they would become immune to them. No phase cloak or metaphasic shield was mentioned. My comparison to a sun was that if it is possble to stop any form of energy so easily then they would be able to just fly right through a star. Ain't gonna happen(with only Trek Deflectoers)! But I must aplaud your "Oficer level" thinking.
