Date Posted: 11:12:09 07/11/03 Fri Author Host/IP: 66.210.89.130 In reply to: Matt Cook 's message, "rules question: some of the cars in our organization, do not have stock firewalls, but they are required to carry 52% on the front wheels. Would this be legal for your race on the 19th? also are bolt in front subframes legal for 63-66 chevy 2's? We are interested in bringing some cars from TEXAS OUTLAW 10.5 RACING ASSOC. and need to know the rules. also are headlamps required? I talked to David the other day and misplaced his phone number." on 10:32:09 07/11/03 Fri Nothing against the Herzogs but that firewall in that car of his is bullshit and having his motor that far back does help him out. Look at his car compaired to other camaros and firebird and tell me he does not have a advantage. 52% of weight on the front or not. A friend of mine has the same type car and his car carries 54% nose weight because his motor is not sitting behind the strut tower. Cole this is your race not the new TORA groups. Keep the rules fare to all not just bend them so one guy can come race. He (Herzog)runs more off then Mr Cook thinks he does. Ask other racers who have seen Brians car up close what they think and see if they want to race with him. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
