kit blinked a few times before recognition washed over her. trotting forward, a genuine beam spread across her face for the first time since the month began. however, comprehending the side effects of two temperamental mothers, their offspring, and a male getting into a brawl… well... let’s not go there. refraining from her usual antics, the kit, instead, quietly slunk over to storm. again, she abstained from taunting him about being her father. after all, it wouldn’t be exactly in her best interests to get storm angry while he was sticking up for her... at least for the moment. they were in this situation because of her and her absent-mindedness. mentally reminding herself to never blankly trot about while she was in other’s ‘territory’, she looked up to stare at the group. she didn’t think talking about getting along and going their separate ways would work anymore either. exhaling, she waited to see what would happen, hoping her former curiosity wouldn’t lead into a blood bath.
