However, I do not agree with you in holding the church to account for this self inflicted calamity. If there was any truth in this, then why arn't the non believers any better. I am a non church goer myself and I don't seem to do better than the church goer. This is enough to convince me that the church alone can't fix our problems let alone any diety. The pastor or rather the priest on this forum reserves his/her right to be who he/she is and say what he/she thinks is right in his/her version of Enga in the same way as you do. I don't think anybody has the right to pass judgement, that right is reserved for God. Lastly, religion could be a myth but christianity is not a myth as you may be led or chose to believe. God and Jesus a real and living and therefore Christianity real. This morning on the 8:30am bus to the city, I saw the most stunning beauty I had seen in a long while. Surely someone must have created her and such beauty must have come from somewhere. Engans need to search inwards as the problem lies within the individual. Instead Church is maintaining peace and harmony in Enga. Also the churches are responsible for the development of Enga. Churhces look after more youths and teach them to be good citizens. Also the churches are responsible for the healthcare, education, awarness on Hiv/Aids and law and order, infrastructure, teaching the basic principles of morality and many more where our leaders are failing to deliver. You are totally going the Opposite. For Example, places like Kompiam where the people carrys the vehicle instead of vehicle carrying the people, The Catholic and the Baptist Church plays a major role in the development of Kompiam. The Kompiam Baptist Health center gets its supply throuh the Australian Airforce and looks after the people. More that 50% of the health centre, hospitals and schools- from elementry to secondary are set up and run by the missions. I believe that Church is the only orgainsation that promoting peace, harmony and progress in Enga. I urge you to change your philosophy and support the churhes. This is a democratic country and you have the right to be a monk, athiest, hindu, christian or even a potential terroist but remember that God is real. Jesus is real and he is living.
