In reply to: Robert Moniker 's message, "Church to blame for Enga calamity" on Tue, Jun 03 2008, 06:04:06am

I agree with Robert that Enga is in a mess but as Hwaters said, it is not caused by the church. Instead Church is maintaining peace and harmony in Enga. Also the churches are responsible for the development of Enga. Churhces look after more youths and teach them to be good citizens. Also the churches are responsible for the healthcare, education, awarness on Hiv/Aids and law and order, infrastructure, teaching the basic principles of morality and many more where our leaders are failing to deliver.
You are totally going the Opposite.
For Example, places like Kompiam where the people carrys the vehicle instead of vehicle carrying the people, The Catholic and the Baptist Church plays a major role in the development of Kompiam. The Kompiam Baptist Health center gets its supply throuh the Australian Airforce and looks after the people. More that 50% of the health centre, hospitals and schools- from elementry to secondary are set up and run by the missions.
I believe that Church is the only orgainsation that promoting peace, harmony and progress in Enga.

I urge you to change your philosophy and support the churhes. This is a democratic country and you have the right to be a monk, athiest, hindu, christian or even a potential terroist but remember that God is real. Jesus is real and he is living.
Enga is for Jesus and even the Leaders fails to deliver, Jesus will deliver through the churches

With Kind Regards,
