Hi 61 & all those you think that the infected girls should die. I utterly condemn your attitudes, this is a clear case of lack of understanding on your part as an educated person from Enga.

Firstly, the leadership in Enga has created a very big gap between the rich and the poor. The poor a getting poorer and many and the rich are getting richer and few. From this generic view, one can understand that many of these students in the schools in Enga are not from rich families but from poor ordinary Engan families. These teenagers are denied the opportunity to have some sort of cash to facilitate their needs. They are sent to schools far from home, families and friends. This means, they entirely depend on the school’s ability to care for them. They depend entirely on the school for food, shelter and security which some of these schools fail to provide. If they do, it’s substandard and in terms of food-low diet and few in quantity. Therefore, the enticement of a K50 cannot be resisted by an unsuspecting, cash stripped teenager with so many needs to facilitate at the school. She has the need for laundry powder, bath, food, pen, books, pocket money etc. Come on guys, be sensible and understand the backgrounds of these girls. These girls are not from the few rich families, they are from ordinary poor Enga families. The rich guys sent their kids to Amapaka, Pom International School or overseas loaded with stolen cash.

Girls from such cash stripped families are sometimes forced to have one night stands with some of these predators in their desperate attempt to meet these daily needs. Many are lucky because they have it with men who are not HIV positive but those unfortunate 4 were the case of a worst tragedy. Maybe this is just the tip of the iceberg. Mandatory testing of some sort is required to establish the true magnitude of this dreadful situation in our schools in Enga.

The real condemnations should go those rotten polygamists who go around with K50 at night times in their fuming utilities. Why don’t they go and spank their wives again and again and again and again? Secondly, we need the political will to generate some sort of cash economy in the province where everyone will have cash in their pockets which will enable the parents of these school girls to facilitate the countless needs they face. Maybe some of these political leaders need to lead by example and stop their own womanizing behaviours. Some of these high school girls are primary targets of leaders such as Ipatas, Polye and former MPs in the likes of Kappa.

I know of girls that attend Wabag and Kopen Secondary schools and I just pray that they are on the safe side.

One for all, all for one.

Hi TapuMalo,

Your argument indirectly supports these young girls’ mere prostitute practice. That is selling their body when they need cash as it is the easiest means.

You are saying that many of these young girls are from poor families and need cash. In other words, it implies that because these girls can’t afford daily needs, screwing around for cash is appropriate. Your other idea implied here is that school girls should be screwed by non infected rich guys for cash and not by people who have got this dreadful disease. What a hypocrite idea, bro!

Now your argument is around big gap being created by rich and poor. We aren’t poor. In terms of cash, yes, you are right. But we have the resources to look after ourselves and pay for school fees. Your childish idea just supports these bastards from being lazy. Money is in the soil. Tell your girls to get their hands dirty. After school or during break, tell them to go home and make peanut garden, pick coffee, sell garden food and many more. Don’t support these girls to be like Queen Elizabeth running around with clean hands and acts as if they work in an office.

There is no such thing as easy money. This world is evil and you have to work hard to survive. If you are encouraging your girls to take the easiest route, sorry buddy, easy path has got hook in it. Your girls aren’t going to escape. Uncle with K50 is not putting these young girls on gunpoint and screwing them. Girls themselves are making their own choice. They have to die because they deserve it.
