However, I think it is a blessing in disguise. As pointed out above, it is indeed "mad rush hour" in PNG politics and capable Engans like Mr. Lupari should not grab this false opportunity without foresight. We all know it is election time and the Somare government is doing this insane political maneouvres to leverage its prospects of forming the next government. Obviously it needs highlands Mps support to regain control after elections. However, if the next government is made up of people other than the current government Isaac Lupari's chances of remaining in that post will be slim as we all know new governments in PNG always come with their own people.
