Well, as you can read here in our postings we certainly share your frustration and angst. Yes, it is very very tough and very slow going. In the past 2 weeks i have lost one more lb even though I have been good as gold for aproximately 10 days straight. Very frustrating.

I did have one very very big victory however....I have been unable to wear my wedding and engagement rings for over a year. the engagement ring especially I have not been able to wear for maybe 2+ years. I could not even get them on before starting this weightloss regime 3 months ago. I have dropped 26 lbs to date and yesterday i got both of them on!!! This was a very big deal to me as you can imagine. I had to take them off after a few hours as my fingers started to swell. But i look foward to being able to wear them continuously so much. This is a very big incentive for me.

Find whatever incentives you can and write them down on a list. Look at it several times a day. Hang some clothing items you want to fit into where you will see them every day. I write down everything that goes into my mouth daily. Yes, I have had bad days and times I cheat...but the food journal things helps me a lot. I also just plain journal sometimes to vent frustrations rather than stuffing my face.

Today my hubby and I were out for the day together. he had an icecream cone and I had one lick....and it was actually OK. I didn't feel like I needed more...amazing! (now if he had had cheesecake I don't know how I would have done...but I will take a small victory wherever I can!! LOL)

What kinds of things work for you? Do you have any kind of eating plan? The thing that is making a big difference for me is excercising pretty much every day. I think I have only skipped a handfull of days in 3 months. I hate to get started every day but once I get started it is OK. us know what we can do to encourage you and cheer you on. Great to see you hear!

Hugs,
Dreemy
