Iron is a nutrient we store. Women lose iron with their monthly flow. Women who don't have a period need less iron. men can over-dose on it and shouldn't usually take a supplement. The best de-stressor-type of supplments are all the B-complex ones. Vit C also, since it is not stored in the body and stress depletes us of all non-stored nutrients.

As for the caloric balance u seek try to stay between 1200 and 1400 cal per day making most of that in complex carbs such as non-starchy veggies and fruits and the remainer in lean protein and healthy fats. Some people do well with alternating higher and lower calorie days. I don't know....I don't lose if I consume too many calories per week period.

It certainly depends on your activity level as well.

have u had a hair analysis? my mom had one done and it will tell you all the nutrient levels in your body. I have thought of it.

L&L,
Dreemy
