OK so I wasn't feeling so great so I made up my own homemade soup (the canned type has too much salt). I used veggie broth, onion, celery, green beans, a bit of summer squash, a bit of tomatoe, and fresh spinach. I threw in about 3 oz. of chicken breast. I ate all of it and it was a huge amount...2 large bowls, for supper. The next day I had lost 3 lbs overnight! Now I know that kind of quick loss is mostly water and salt that were trapped in tissues...but let me tell you...I have the hardest time getting my body to let go of it! I did eat normally throughout the day prior to the soup for dinner...so if you're thinking that I didn't eat all day the answer is 'no way!'

Since then I have been doing the soup for supper every night and have continued to lose a half a lb a day. I am holding my breath to see if this will continue or not. I am still 5 1/2 lbs more than my lowest point, this past Yule. It would be really nice to get back there. I will keep you posted. I absolutely refuse to compromise my health by trying anything drastic like super-low-calorie consumtion or fasting.

hugs!
Dreemy
