So we have made it past Thanksgiving here in the USA...and now face the secular lures of x-mas and new years events with all their calorie laden temptations. I learned the hard way last december that I can't even say, "OK...I've arrived...now I can slack off and eat whatever I want". Nope that will never be. I will always have to be aware and careful what I eat. The lbs go on REALLY REALLY EASY...and come off tortuously slow and with much effort and, yes, deprivation of certain things...and moderation in most others. It is a lifetime thing.

So I currently am paying form not only my health issues (constant struggles) but with the accompanying wieght gain that comes with my hormonal fluxes. The slightest straying from the straight and narrow and ZAP! POW! up goes the scale. But, the good thing is that I know what to do and have commensed doing so with gritted teeth. Bottom line is that I don't ever want to not care again about my health and what shape I am in. Having experienced being less of me, I now am most uncomfortable when there is too much of me. Feeling comfortable in one's own skin and being able to move about life and enjoy it is what I now crave most. So I will squash down those other more self-destructive (and oh so fleetingly on the lips/forever on the hips) cravings.

Much encouragement to all of you equally desirous of being their best and healthiest possible self! I still remain...

always your comrad in the "feild",
Dreemy
