It's not just the goalie, it's not just the defensemen, it's the whole team. One person or part of the team can't be to blamed because they've all had problems. Nabby hasn't been living up to the contract he got or his play of the last two seasons. He's shown moments of brillance though. The defense has problems. Without Suter and a solid 6th dman, and pairings that have left something to be desired they have faltered at times. The offense has missed many great shots, passes, and opportunities. There's been a lot of bad penalties, though it hasn't been as bad since Wilson came on board, imo. As for Sutter, he's a great guy, but I think he had done all he could with this team. I equated it to having a chess set but needing to have someone that can use all the pieces they way they are meant to be used. I tend to wonder whether there's a good atmosphere in the lockeroom, but their play of late, since Wilson came on board, has shown they are the same team and can still win, or at least play like the Sharks of last year. I still think they will make the playoffs, it will just take some work, and winning at home in January.
