Well, I really don't know where to start on this one. MAybe it's just me, but I thought it was amazing. Very well done. You BAers have some great writers defending your ship, lemme tell ya.

I enjoyed the characters in this piece. Some AUs seem to put the characters in positions that seem a little too AU, and they loose the small things that we love about them. This was not the case. I loves Willow an dXander, small as their parts were. Threw in a littel Fred and Wes for good measure, completing a little Jossverse circle that connected well.

I think the relationships that formed between humans and vampires was well mapped out, and played on. The City was a well designed background for the basic flow of the story, although the other cities mentioned could have had more play in my opinion.

I did find it interesting that Hotlz was a good guy, that was amusing, but when the character is built up it's beleavable. AS I said, I at least understood that the underlining character was there, just put in a different scenario.

Th eonly elements I had trouble with was the ending. Which unfortunately is a big part of the story. I found the climax lacking. Again, just an opinion.

There was enough entertainment in this to make me finish it in one day. (I read much faster than I type)

I'mnot going to be extra picky simply because the story had me thinking, wondering , and asking questions. O like that Xan and Angel got along. XAnder's crush on Anya was cute. I like most stories that have the council, specially Travers, getting kicke don their ass. Cuz it needs to be done.

I'm giving it a well rounded, happy to have read it, all BAers should; 95

I'm going to have to second Kaylorin's thoughts on this fic. I loved it. Loved it to pieces. I'm not usually all too fond of AU stories, as it takes ages to get into and understand... but this one just enthralled me.

The only difference is that I personally liked the ending. Yes, maybe it was a little sappy, but I like the sap.

I'm joining Kay's grade too, as it's well deserved. 95.
