Given the state of world affairs these days, I feel the need to speak out, but i am sometimes awkward at speaking. I am most comfortable when I am around music. For that reason, I have created a new section on Let's Talk Music called "Songs to Ponder". There, I will continue to present song lyrics that I love for their message. Today, I added a a song by Eric Goble, two by Rush, and one by Bob Dylan. The one by Bob Dylan is actually a link to another site, but I loved the way they presented it. I didn't figure I could improve on what they did... besides, they even translated the song into Japanese! :)

By the way, Baltan-san added a new section to his site too. :) Check out his classical music section at

Baltanさん、
こんにちは。この朝でBaltanさんのページを見ました。(笑)私もClassicalが好きです。大好きの歌はBachの「Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring」です。

ところで、「音楽を話しましょう」に新部分を加えました。「熟考する歌」です。日本語で何と言います・・・この世界のイベントので何かを言いたいです。This is my way of saying something about the things that are happening.

I just wanted to tell everyone about some great soul artists. India.Arie has a great followup album out now titled Voyage To India. There's also Remy Shand with his album The Way I Feel. You can have the opportunity to help these great artists by joining the Motown Online Street Team. To find out more, follow this link: http://teams.m80im.com/team/motown . Thanks!!!

I checked it out. The site is simple, but I like the reviews.
It looks like a brand new site, because I was #7 on the counter. I wish the author had some contact info that I could reach him/her at.

Still, it's good to finally see another Fukuyama-san related page in English!

Taylor Fan,
I listened. He is quite good! Kind of a deep voiced John Denver type sound. Thanks for sharing that with us. Ihope to hear more. :)

Shiro-san,
Hello again. Thanks again for your help! :)

I think I also like Humming Bird's versions better. Both versions are essentially Humming Bird, since the members of Humming Bird did much of the instrumental work on the Dynamite OVAs' CDs. However, I think they were allowed a little more creative freedom on their own album and that made all the difference.

do u want the original japanese lyrics as they appear in the booklets too? if u do want them with the other songs i can type it up for you. heres the lyrics to my fav song at the moment:

(note:for all the songs i romanise it and made the romaji layout kinda different from da one in da booklet), sorry for any inconvenience. but it is easier to sing along to as every time there is a slight pause i will skip to the next line as in da booklets how the is a space between lines.

Yasei no Mewo Shida Shounen

Lyrics:
Composition:
Arrangement:
Vocals: Yoshiki Fukuyama
From: 1-2-3 (One Two Three)

Chiheisen wo mitsume de
Shizuka ni bimi wo sumasu
Kikoeru no wa kodoku na
Asu e mukau kaze no uta

Namo shiranu so wo genno
Shizuka na toki no naka de
Yasei no me wo shide iru
Shounen na hohoemi kake da

Aa taiyo no youni hora
Kagayaite ita yo ne
Mujaki nae na wo wo
Wasure washi nai

Yu yakeiro no yama ni
Hagure taku mo ga kaeru
Shounen wo itsu no hika
O wa kire sore miageru yu

Yoru no tobari no naka de
Me o tojite u kabu no wa
Yasei no me wo shiteiru
Shounen no omoi de nano sa

Aa taiyo no youni hora
Kagayaite ita ne
Haruka no hibi wo
Hashiri tsuzu keru
Chiheisen no kare dae

Aa taiyo no youni hora
Kagayaite ita yo ne
Mujaki nae na wo wo
Wasure washi nai

translation
(alinda, there are some uncertainties i dunno, but i tried my best!)

The boy who does the eye of wild nature

Staring at the horizon,
It harkens gently
As for being the audible loneliness
The song of wind which faces to tomorrow

The grassy plain which has no name
During a quiet time
The eye of wild nature is complete
The boy began to smile

Well Like the sun and others
We would like to have shone, don't you think?
An innocent face,
A kind smiling face
You do not forget

In a mountain which glows in the evening
The cloud which is separated returns
Boy, some day?
The big sky to see

When the night shines
Closing the eye, as for floating
The eye of wild nature is complete
It is memory of the boy

Well Like the sun and others
We would like to have shone, don't you think?
Far everyday life
The horizon which continues to run
To the far side of the line

Well Like the sun and others
We would like to have shone, don't you think?
An innocent smiling face
A kind smiling face
You do not forget

Well thats da song and its really kool too. i fink ill do ride on the night next as it sounds lik a really kool song.

Shiro-san,

Wow! Pleased to meet you. :) Thanks for all the posting! I'll try to respond to everything.

Yahoo is my main e-mail address, but I do have an MSN/hotmail account also. Try alinda98418@msn.com

Aqua Entertainment (distributor of the Wild Vox album) will do oversees orders, but they work them out through email on a case by case basis. Payment would probably be by international money order.

Generally, I think I like Humming Bird's songs even better than Fire Bombers, although I love them both! Both Fukuyama-san and Furuya-san have very strong voices that blended extremely well together. I'm glad to see Furuya-san is finally getting back into performing a bit.

"Love Song" vs "To Heart". I think that "To Heart" fits the rythm of the music better, but that may because I heard it first.

On Timeless, my favorite song changes every day because I really do love that entire album!

I haven't yet heard Kujiura-san's other music. I'll have to check it out. I don't know much about Papa Roach, other than the name, but Teresa might. Teresa?

Thankyou! Thank you! Thank you for the song translation! I'll post it sometime today. Do you have a web site to link to? I always found it quite interesting just how completely opposite K. Inojo-san's "I'll call your name" is from Shoichiro Aso-san's "Bye, Bye Ojousama", even though both use Fukuyama-san's tune and the same vocalist.

Again, thanks for everything! Please, write again. :)
peace
