Alexis sprung to her feet as quick as a cat. Her eyes angry. "I forgot that I signed on to listen to others tell me that I am nothing more than a beast!"

She moved ever closer to Angie like an animal stalking prey. "For some reason Angie I thought I had made two good friends and was on a journay with them. But I didn't make friends did I? No one here cares about me or what all the nasty little coments might do to me."

Quietly she turned and moved away into the shadows. "Forget it. It doesn't matter. I'm going home. My father might not like that I am Cheysuli, but at least he doesn't call me names and then BLAME me."

::Monet, come on.:: She looked sadly back at Angie. ::You are my only friend after all.::

Monet looked to Gwen and then out to where Alexis called him. He was not a pet to come when his master called, but his small liren was in so much pain. ::Gwen... Gwen I must go to her. Your boy has unknowingly inflicted her with much pain. She has known no one for so long...::

Monet slowly moved toward Alexis his eyes sad as he looked to Gwen. ::I will bring her back if I can, but... She requires exceptance. No one has ever excepted her.::
