 Kaleadora listened with astonishment to Angie's agreement to help the boy. It was not in her character to freely offer assistance, with no hope of reward. But Kalea certainly wasn't complaining; she liked having her friend around.

She didn't move from where she sat as she listened to Gabriel and then Nashota. Crouching comfortably in the dirt, she looked carefully at the Cheysuli warrior with her bright green eyes as Nashota did the same, and smiled secretly as he seemed to grow uncomfortable beneath the combined cobalt and emerald gazes.

::Humans...:: Kalea mused. ::I like them!:: She laughed suddenly, reveling in Gabriel's confusion. ::They're so different! I can't believe we managed to get mixed up in this... Isn't it wonderful?:: She tilted her head and smiled delightedly at her sister. ::What an adventure! Did you hear, we'll get to travel! All over the place!::

She sobered suddenly. ::But you're right... What about the Tribe? What do we tell them? What do we tell Daddy? ...Should we tell them at all? What if they try to make us go back?:: She paused, biting her lip, and then looked up with a resolute expression. ::I'm not leaving. Nashy, we can't leave now! They need us, and... and we need them.::

She gave Gabriel her best reassuring smile as she awaited her sister's insight.
