Yes, we are ready for snow this year! Mapguy bought a snowblower, and at 700 smackeroonies, it had better clear out the driveway -- and fast -- if we get another Nor'Easter.

Remember when it snowed a LOT over the President's Day weekend in February 2003? Mapguy was up visiting his parents in Syracuse, and there was no way I could get all the snow out of our driveway. I had to pay someone to plow it. And that ain't cheap. So, he decided to go for a pre-emptive strike.

But Sammy, I'm afraid it might be like getting Gumdrop new winter boots: the moment you buy 'em, you pretty much assure that not a flake will fall. Now that Mapguy has this new toy, maybe we'll have a mild, warm winter?

Wouldn't it be grate, though, if it snowed for Christmas?
