Just a note

Not much activity from the troops lately on any of the usual forums. Must be post-political.

Janet and I are swell. I'm busy working and cooking like a mad-man. It's been quite a while since I've baked anything, and I've chosen a "galette". It's basically an open face apple pie. The twist being it is done as a free form dough, baked on a flat sheet rather than in a pie plate. Today is my second one and the early reviews are good..:^)

Don't forget to shut and drain those outside garden hose connections. Our temp this morning was 55*, so you guys in the burbs had to be 10* cooler.

Heard from Angie this week. She is back to work and reports all is well with Mike and baby. I'm hoping to see the new family soon...all are welcome.
