Subject: That wasn't a soup tureen, it was a chamber pot! Has anyone seen that "Manor House" show on PBS?

They've taken an family and made them live as an English Lord would have at the turn of the 20th century. They and their servants are all in a huge Edwardian Manor House and they are all required to do, and act exactly as would have been done in those days. The poor sevants work like slaves and have no rights at all, and the Lord and his family have to endure terribly strict protocol, but putter around aimlessly with little to do. (So much bullshit!) I did get a good laugh when they had to dine on a period dinner of "hog's head", as they ate it's cheeks it was smiling at them from across the room.

I don't think I would have done too well back then. The class structure is alarming.
