Is there not a single part of my body that's not chapped by the brisk cold winds out there?? And it's supposed to snow up to six inches in the next two days. Are there really people who sleep in the raw in this kind of weather? Who could really look sexy turning purple with goose pimples everywhere? I don't even want to shave my legs because of the goose bumps that form when I'm showering. Tonight I'm wearing jammies, sox, AND my house coat to bed...now THAT'S hot right? Can't wait to leave for Florida in a few weeks - hell, even if it's only in the 40's over there it'd be great. Looking forward to meeting all the other fans from this and other boards that are going. I couldn't agree with you more Connie! It is too damn cold! Last night when I checked before I went to bed it was 3 degrees and with the windchill 11 below zero! Now that gets a big BRRRRR! in my book. Hope you have a great time in florida. All weekend was 70's groups, booze dancing booze and more booze, oh and of course Les' Legendry Baycity Rollers, it was a great gig!!. Les's band were buzzing, Les was sober and very good, but of course he's not the God that we all love, but still any roller is better than none eh girls !! My best mate is a real Les Fan, so i went as her support, but after seeing Eric in Spain a few weeks ago, it wasnt the same. I got some good picks of him on stage if any one wants to see them. Received the following email with a bit of detail about it when I had inquired which Roller would be at the upcoming Florida gig this coming January. I'm very excited that the response to the show has went so well. Can only keep my fingers crossed that he'll make his way a bit closer to the States. Dear Connie, EXCLUSIVE NEWS FOR YOU! There will be two dates prior to Christmas performed by Eric Faulkner BCR.They will both be in Spain due to great demand after Erics recent performance there. The dates are 22nd and 23rd December�05. Nearest airport is Alicante (NEITHER OF THE VENUES ARE TOO FAR FROM THERE). The dates are definate but until the contracts are returned I am not in a position to name the venues. I am awaiting the return of the guy that designs the website to get that properly up and running. The dates, �should�be on the POPSHOP website by next week. Finding these boards has been wonderful, everyone has done a terrific job on them, it has renewed my interest that was so strong for the group in my teen years. Kathleen - if you're talking about the VH1 show - yes, it was a good show. Although I'm sure you could find someone to tape you a copy without buying it on Ebay. C'mon anyone? Regardless, if you do chose to buy it from an Ebay it could be a good copy or one that's been copied over and over. My sister actually taped it off TV when it broadcasted and I have a copy of that. He was looking great girls, lost all the fat and hair long again although grey but hey we all getting older. I had a picture taken with him and was at front of stage all night, felt 15 again. the sound system was naff and there were problems in the lighting (not Erics fault) but he kept smiling and was happy ,i felt i was melting all over again (i can only admit this to you guys as my man was with me!!)is kas still with Eric ? unfortunately she is very pretty and a nice person. Weeeeeeee. Just got back from seeing Peter Noone - ya know Herman's Hermits. Was GREAT!!! They put on one hell of a show. Was very impressed and enjoyed it quite a lot. Will scan pix once I develop them. He came out in the audience and handed out a few T-shirts and hand gave one to my youngest daughter. She's 8 and she was Soooooo pleased! I think Peter was impressed that 3 generations of our family were there to see him. He signed autographs and the line moved quite rapidly. So when our turn came I figured we'd get a scribble and a push to move along ..... basically seeming like a herd of cattle. But when we came up he talked to us a bit. Asking who the mother of the kids were and then showing his apprecation that the lot of us came. After we were finished - we began to walk away and he called out "Thanks Connie." I felt like saying "For what Peter my love?" Course I just said, "Thank you Peter." The opening act was Liverpool......they were great too. They were a Beatles tribute act and were very good. Great night.

Lisa....Les was involved in the accident which happened last July. He originally pleaded guilty and was supposed to appear in court this last week. He then changed his plea and so he could not be sentenced and will now have to wait for a trial date. As far as Les not doing the OIAL tour...where did you see this?? These gigs are in June and July and I seriously doubt he will get a trial date by then. Although I am wracking my brain to remember if I saw in my various emails and news articles if a date has been set and I cannot find it. I have not heard anything to the contrary so as far as I know he is still doing these gigs. Hope this helps some. (NT) -- Kat, 16:38:15 05/17/05 Tue Kat ~ I actually didn't see it.
