Thanks to all that posted a Happy Birthday to Eric - I'm hoping he had a GREAT one and that he actually got to see your messages. I saw many fantastic birthday wishes for him go through the email groups that weren't posted on boards. The man's still loved and cared for by plenty of fans, friends, and admirers. Beautiful to see.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Davy Jones last night was superb!! However, for those that wanted me to hug or kiss him for them ........ didn't get to.......awwwwww. He took off right after the show and didn't sign autographs or have pictures taken or anything. I think the crowd was probably just too huge for our town to allow it. There was right around 2000 people there. BUT...I did take around 20 pix so after I finish the film - I'll post some. I did manage (even with all those people) to get my kids and I in the very front row. Although the front row was a "neck breaking ....look up the whole time" spot - it was worth it. Davy still looks fabulous and sounds GREAT!! He was very entertaining and funny. For instance someone yelled out "Love your hair." and he said "Yeah what's left of it." Then he said he has 3 daughters so he has learned how to water the flowers very well when in need of the restroom. They had him up on a high stage with a fence around it so he walks up and could barely see over the fence so he got a box, or speaker or whatever it was and stood on it. Very fun!!! Course Columbus shows it's true colors when they have a big show like that ..... couldn't find a beer stand anywhere! LOL

In my own words of course - for all I know he may have bought a Caribbean island and be sat fishing all day (Oh sorry, its Johnny Depp that did that!) From 1989 til 1996 Eric ran HIS version of the BCR's with Alan and Woods alongside. He maintained contact with fans both through live shows and the fan club. The band played gigs on average 4 a month if not more - and it was ALL done by Eric. He has chosen for whatever reason to leave that behind, and live his life privately away from any mention of the Rollers - this is proven time and time again by his absense from various TV/Media interviews. I know some fans would love to know where he is, what he's doing and be able to send him messages, but his choice is not that, and we must all respect that. He's a very private person. I was stunned - I was simply stunned. I had recently bought the "Live in L.A." CD of Ian and the band and quite enjoyed it, however, was simply pissing my panties when I discovered that they sounded even better than that in person. Damn they were good - ya have to see them live you really, really do to grasp what I mean. First off Ian.....ahhh what can I say about Ian except that he could have been having a complete orgy with the crowd without stepping off the stage and he didn't even have to touch anyone. It's like the whole crowd could feel his energy and responded back to him with the same. His voice was fantastic - simply couldn't have been better. Rick also did very well on the two songs he sang and rolled away with the best pants award. Those leather pants were quite hot and could cause ladies to loose quite a bit of drool which helped the stadium sell more sodas and beer I'm sure. Mike - way to go babe - wore a kilt and certainly rocked a few girls world - especially the ones that were looking up at him from down there at the bottom of the stage on the field. Those girls had the best view - damn them! Mike is one of the best guitar players I've ever heard - LOVE IT when he does his version of "Bye Bye Baby." Billy on the other hand can really play those skins. His drum solo was amazing - I almost knocked my hip outta socket trying to keep up with him. This guy has the sweetest smile too - quite inviting - quite inviting indeed. Jeff "agent man" was quite the gentleman and guy you really were fun. However, you did ask me some really CRAZY questions! If this wasn't a public board - I'd elaborate on those and answer them truthfully. LOL. Never stop being you - you're a trip. I would soooooooo recommend seeing these guys play to anyone. I met some great people at this show as well! The band - the people I met - you ALL ROCKED ME! I hear they're going to be in Michigan but I can't remember where......Detroit maybe? Anyone that wants to hear Ian sing or see a Bay City Roller or just have ONE HELL OF A NIGHT - you should go. This is a serious post to those that think I know Eric - I don't - this is an unofficial board. I get numerous emails per week asking me to tell him this or that... .and people - I can't. For the most part it's fans wanting to get in touch with him or to find out where he's at and what he's doing. But ever so often I get one that I wish I COULD reach Eric and let him know about them.

I got one the other day that broke my heart. Trust me when I say....I don't know where he's at. Perhaps someday he'll resurface and from the deepest most private part of my heart to the lady that wrote me that letter - I hope you'll be there to see him.

Tuesday afternoon my 19 yr old daughter was hospitalized with severe abdominal pain and she is still in the hospital on a morphine drip. They don't know what is wrong or what is causing it, so I have been at the hospital most of the week, at home for a few hours of sleep and checking in at work every other day.
