Subject: You sound sorta like MRAK in this thing, MK, but I know what you mean. I met Leslie. He's still cute and great to hang out with but my heart didn't race the way it does when I see a picture of precious Derek. I've had a lot of support on the Ian board and you've become the best friend I've never seen. PeachJam was great and I got to meet a lot of great girls I'll never forget. I hope to meet many, many more and, with MK's help, I'm hoping to go to Rollerfest in Anaheim. Anybody figured out how we get to Anaheim from Santa Ana? I HATE buses! Love you all and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>Hello Friends,

> It has been some time since I last posted for
>which I apologize. Work and home have been keeping me
>very busy to the point that I can barely read my
>email. Recently my hours were cut back to 30 per week
>so I'm squeaking as much as I can from each penny.
> Let me say belated Happy Birthdays and Merry
>Christmas to All. And an early Happy New Year as well.
> Recently on one of my coveted days off (when my
>husband was at work and my son at school) I began to
>think about how we all came to be friends and close
>friends and best friends in some cases because of two
>completely different things. The first is the
>Internet. That strange little (sort of) box on our
>tables or desks. Through the simple use of electricity
>and metal and wires and silicone, which a few years
>ago was the size of a house just to calculate
>mathematical problems, we are now able to communicate
>with people ALL over the world. Better than we could
>with our own telephones. And more often. I have been

>Australia, California, Florida and many other states
>and countries.
> We have all told each other about our days, our
>families, hopes and dreams (and other various things
>which I won't mention). We have asked for and received
>prayers and comfort from our online friends. We have
>also had our disagreements. We are, after all,
>different people with different opinions.
> The other thing that brings *us* together is our
>affection for eight gentlemen by the names of Alan

>McKeown, Stuart "Woody" Wood, Ian Mitchell, Pat
>McGlynn and Duncan Faure. Collectively know as The Bay

>Did we ever think "no one could love him more than I

>many tried everything we knew to meet them?
> How do we thank these wonderful gentlemen for
