We shouldn't be asking these HUGE unanswerable questions... Well, they can be answered but only by Matrix Revolutions.

Lets start small then work ourselves towards the BIG questions.

THe main question being....who is the MOTHER of the MATRIX?

I think its persephone, cause look at the name.... Persephone is wife of Heidi (Lord of the underworld, Greek Mythology) and daughter of Demeter (Lady Earth, Greek Myth.)

Furthermore, she is the wife of Merovingian(that french guy)
A guy thats wants more and more power, not to mention that he is surrounded by Rogue programs...The Keymaker(forcefully kept with him), The twins, Werewolves, etc.

So it could be a possibility that WHEN PERSEPHONE KISSED NEO, she could have passed on powers like how to stop the sentinels...
A question we may not know till we watch the third installment to the trilogy.
