LOL! Wow, I spent a whole two hours trying to figure out where and what you're doing. And Mikey's little interjections convince me that whoever suggested that they had cloned you is absolutely right. Oh my goodness. You and Chaz and this guy have to be related. I can just hear you saying those things. I only wish you were saying them on my radio again.

I doubt that you remember me but I swear Sammy the psychic must have put some cosmic Darian vibe out into the universe because I stumbled upon your website today after I ran into an old co-worker who I used to car pool with and we were in Walnut creek and passed that sign of the lawyers office you used to always call and harrass. The one that says DIVORCE...FOR MEN ONLY. We both started laughing and reminiscing about the good old days with you and pharoa and chris the crooner. When I got home I checked your website and..low and behold..mike barker had posted new info about you. I was your number 1 fan from the first day you were on the KBGG. I'm sure everyone says that but I really mean it. My commute was from Hollister to Milpitas so 90 minutes on a day when traffic was moving sometimes 2 hours or more otherwise. You were the only thing that made that commute bareable. And not just me. I could always tell who else was listening to you in the cars around us because we'd always start laughing at the same time. It was cool. I actually met you at Macy's when you were doing your tv interview with that cute Italian guy. The Calvin klein model. I can't remember his name but there were women chasing him and you two and a camera guy were whisked off to the freight elevator. Do you remember that? Probably not, but my son and I happened to be taking that elevator as well because he is disabled and the other elevator was impossible to get to because of all the screeching women. It was wild. But you were so nice and you autographed a picture of yourself for him. He still has that picture in a frame in his room and he's almost 12 now. I was so impressed that you were as down to earth as you sounded on the radio. And the italian model/actor was sweet too. What the hell was his name? So cute. Not Antonio Banderas but something like that. Anthony something. Anyhow, he was cool too and joked about the masses storming the stage being your fault. And your cameraman said oh that's nothing. She stands still and crazy people just surround her. She's a magnet. Judging form Chaz and Mikey, I guess that's still true.

I'm sorry this is so long but I'm so excited and shocked to have found you after so long. I remember that horrible story that was on channel 2 on 9/11 saying you and your agent had been killed in the attacks. I was to my stomach. Honestly. And I also remember the last day you guys were on before you moved to New York and Bay Area radio went to shit. I was on the bay bridge and you were choking up talking about how the station was changing format and thanking the new oweners for allowing you to do a farewell show. Sal Castanata lost it and couldn't get through the traffic when you were on with Peter Coyote, Steve Young and Ronnie Lott and Joe Montana pretended to be calling in and then walked into the studio with flowers for you and I swear all four of us in my car were crying. You couldn't keep it together and even Big Head sounded emotional. It was something I'll never ever forget. I'm not a stalker I swear, I just really appreciated how much you made me not just smile but belly laugh every morning. I've been forced to become a foghat now but it's not the same. At least they play good music though. The Bone is awful and Don Blue is still a nice guy but soooooo boring. At least my commute is shorter now. I can't tell where you're planning to go but it sounds like it might be back here. I truly hope so. We could have some kind of reunion thing for all us fans who miss you so. Not that you would remember us..but what a great day it would be to sit around with others and remember you. And I have the perfect 6th idea to put a box of hair to good use. Choke Sarah at Alice 97 with it. She's still trying to be you and still failing miserably. And it would be the perfect way to kill her since she's as dumb as a box of hair.

Thanks for all the great memories and I truly hope you end up somewhere where I can hear you. You are the best!!!
