 Finally I have my freedom from my workplace and can plan a holiday overseas.
I will be landing into KL on Thursday 26 June until 4 July. Then I fly to Singapore and will return to KL on 9 July.

I'm off to Penang on the 11 July for a "durian feast" to be held the next day Sat. 12/07. Apparently a bus/coach will be driving participants around to most if not all of the durian farms on Penang Island (especially in the hills) to taste the many different varieties that the farmers grow.
I understand that Penang durians are among the finest in Malaysia - and many original species plantings are from these farms.
I imagine that the bus driver will require an oxygen mask after the 3rd stop when the bus load of durian enthusiasts start burping and belching!

I will be using the new "Limousine" coach service from KL to Penang at only MR80 one way with a 5 hour trip leaving at 8:30am.
Anyone who is interested in going along let me know as I have to confirm numbers to the organizers. We will probably stay 2 or 3 nights in Penang (have to arrange own accomodation). Please bring your own fart meters so that only the appropriate amount of methane gas is released into the 'return to KL' coach confines. Thank you!

I aim to be staying at my brother's place (near where Canadian Tan used to live) on Thursday 26 & Friday 27 June.
My plane gets in at 7:00pm - so I won't be in Klang until 10:00pm. I remember a Mamat eating house on the main road about 300 metres away. Anyone for a late supper and Teh Tarikh at say 10:30pm - 11:00pm on Thursday 26 June night?
