 I agree with you 100%. That is one of the consequences that Anna should have to face because of her actions and HER CHOICE to use drugs and leave her little girl behind. No child should have to go through what our children have been put through. I know what the counselor said to you pissed you off, but think of it this way, they are just words from a person on the outside. Your daughter is not well and no one is going to take your little girl away. You adopted her. Don't let anyone fill you with the guilt for being the best grandma/mom you can be. You have done terrific. You have done what you knew you had to do. I would try realy hard to get past the 'talk'. Is she walking the walk that she should be? NO. Then they are just words. Try to think of it that way. Just words with unsettled emotions attached that are directed at the wrong person.
