Typical self-focused addict. He is still trying to manipulate. Try 2 years! He doesn't deserve to be in a nice, comfortable place for the holidays, he deserves to be where he should be - in treatment. They expect to be treated like first class people and are entitled to so much yet they do nothing for anyone else unless it will benefit themselves first. He should have been around daily and working and taking care of his family and expecially doing a lot for you all near the holidays and he's not but he sure expects to be treated as such. Water will find it's level, he's at his level. You have nothing to feel guilty about however, you are standing up for yourself and not allowing the sin to continue - you are doing what God tells us to do as His children. God is With you.
