You go girl! You have NO worries at all. I am going through the same thing except he asked for joint custody out of 'show' for the man that takes care of him but really didn't file it at the court. He is a liar and manipulator and will most likely not pass a drug hair follicle test. Sometimes they think they can get away with shaving their heads or coloring their hair before this test, but yes there are other ways as Hula mentioned. Mention this to the judge ' If they cannot obtain a hair sample for some reason, (name the reasons) please postpone visitations until they do and it's clean.
I can't wait til this is over. Getting a court date in Los Angeles County is not easy, it takes awhile. Please pray that I get one soon.
