You are doing well. Why allow him custody when he isn't nearly even a part-time parent? These addicts really think they're fooling everyone else yet they are so gone.
The hair follicle tests are accurate to approx. 90 days of use. For this reason, a urine would not be good because he seems to be aware of the testing and can stay clean for a little while. Advise your attorney that you are aware that there is more than one way to get a hair sample. If they can't get one from the head, they will get it from underarm or pubic if necessary. We have guys that think they can get away with it by shaving their head.
Again, it's never what they say, it's what they do. Be sure to tell the courts that he is a meth user.
