He can't quit the meth without quitting the pot. One drug leads to another for an addict...even cigarettes can be the first step back to the path. In my addicts case, it is the prescription meds that start the entire cycle, and it comes to full head within seven months.

A buzz is a buzz is a buzz, and it all must stop. If not, the damage, physically and mentally, that he will create for all those around him is very destructive.

I highly suggest a restraining order also if he doesn't submit to drug testing and rehab. It sounds harsh, but is necessary to show him that your first order of business is the well being of your child and you.

Also, I highly suggest prayer.
