 he is not seeing from your side or you son's. He has no clue what it has done to either one of you. He probably does however think he can get back in your good graces thru your son. Someday when he is truly clean and done with drugs, you and him should really consider a realtionship that you can both handle for your son. Even if it is just being nice to each other when and if he ever picks the boy up for the weekend or whenever. There are going to be times in your life when your forced to be together, and it is much easier on everyone if you can put the past behind you. Does that make sense to you? If you find a new boyfriend and are happy heather, thats something he has to except. Nothing to do with drugs either, you have been hurt. Life is to short to NOT be happy! Like he said heather, you deserve it. Just because HE said it doesn't mean it has to be with him! Go enjoy your life! Give your all your kids the chance to be happy, and someday maybe he will be a positve figure for spencer. I will never give up the hope that he will be clean and turn his life around because I know it can be done. I also know that when that happens, you cant take everthing or everyone with you. No matter how bad you want to. He is going to have to adjust to that.
