hi i have had a sort of thing happen to me for a number of years on and off. Mine happens in the morning when I want to wake up but am still dozy. Something comes into the room and sits on me. I am totally awake but paralised and am really frightened. I cannot push this thing off me, usually feels like a cat or a person. I look all around the room and can see everything but cannot move. When I eventually push it off I feel drained and am quite exhausted for the rest of the day. I contacted someone in Canada who asked for people with these sort of happenings who wanted to do research. Aparantely it is very common and is called hag phenomenom. You can read lots about it on the web. Sometimes I see a face above mine when it happens and everytime it happens it is pure evil that I feel and it is very frightening. Aparently you get paralised cause its the brain,s way of keeping you from sleepwalking and harming yourself. I myself think it is more than that cause it has happened so often. I have now changed my bedroom around and it has not happened for a year or so. Hope this helps
