Letha smirked, snickering to herself at the other's expression. Graz's eyes kept fixed on Brechin, unblinking and clearly showing his gears of intellectual thought were always in motion.

"Indeed, I suppose it would be a good friendship, and I know well of its value."

The wolfess let his words echo in her ebon ears, golden gaze following the male's. Orbs lingered a moment, unfocoused in thought as she stared ahead, more or less. Graz ruffled his silky feathers.

"Yes, you are right, but I am not so sure what I fight for... I have been of only two packs in my memory. Both of the dark, though to say that I, my self, really chose the packs might be untrue..."

Letha's voice drifted, memories summoned as images of the terrible killer and the dead pup flashed before her mind's eye. Graz nipped her ear and she came to herself blinkingly, grinning back Brechin.

"Is that so? And what makes you think I'm neither?"

She flashed a teasing smirk before turning back to her hare that lay on the ground, still lifeless as ever. Graz instantly lept from his position as the wolfess took hold of the meat, swinging it around to land in the dirt before her. The raven landed happily beside and began to tear at it, on solid, obsidian eye glinting at the male. With her muzzle, Letha motioned for Brechin to help himself, there was still some left.
