There's been a change to the age limit of children allowed in the pits, per Jerry Grabow. He explained this tonight at the off road meeting. He has convinced the BLM that if kids are old enough to enter D-37 races, i.e. 12 years old, then they are old enough to work the pits. Therefore, anyone 12 and older can now work the pits.

If you bring kids under 12 years old to a D-37 desert race and there are pits involved, they must stay behind the truck AT ALL TIMES that holds the pit supplies. Which means at least 25 feet behind pit row in the spectator area. They are not allowed in the pit area at any time once the race starts. If the BLM sees them there, they can place the club hosting the race on probation. If one more club gets placed on probation, the BLM may not allow any more D-37 desert races in the future.

So please follow the SRP Rules and Guidelines that you have seen posted in the last three Competition newsletters. Thank you.
