Subject: Free Yamaha Rhino doors and grab handle

Author:
Mike Jansen
[Edit]

Date Posted: 20:37:02 08/23/07 Thu

Yamaha has seen fit to retrofit all Rhinos with a slick set of doors and a passenger grab handle free of charge. This program just broke so if your dealer hasn't heard they will. They will give the doors and passenger grab handle to anyone with any year Rhino who wants them. There's a blurb in the press release about only giving them to Rhino's with no doors so you may want to take of any after market leg minders before you take it to the dealer so there is no confusion.

Let's have a head count on who is going to be racing, and who is helping in pits. This is a start by class format, it should be fun.
Also, I have talked with an Invader member and he said make sure you have hand guards for this race, there will be some heavy bush wacking.

To all our family and friends,

Bruce did all he could to beat this horrible turn of events in his health over the past two months. He went to be with the Lord at 6:30 PM last night. The family was with him and he passed peacefully. We miss him terribly and know how much he was loved by you all. We will let you know when service will be held in the next few days. The family is here with me now and we are holding each other up. Please send e-mails to a_jeannine@hotmail.com

First off I want to thank you for standing with us for Michael. Our prayers have been answered! Michaels reg. Dr. cleared him once again for any and all the extreme sports that he loves. His retina is fine and the debri that remains in his eye is normal after what he's been through. So the end result to this was Michaels pupil is once again round (which makes him very happy) and his vision is holding at 20/45. That in itself a miracle.

GOD IS GOOD!

I am posting this for a friend. Billy Frank is a Christian, a champion motorcross racer and was also the best man in my wedding. He's a great friend and has recently helped Cari and I switch frm AAA to Farmers insurance and save some cash. Read on.

Dear Fellow Riders in Christ

My name is Billy Frank, and some of you might remember me from my Moto/Supercross career back in the mid to late 80’s earning the 1985 AMA Rookie of the Year award. I am also the guy behind the company BillyWho, and prior to that helped design and create the Asterisk knee brace. Anyway, I have decided to move by career in a different direction. Almost a year ago I started my own Farmer's Insurance agency and I am looking for some quality people with common interests to grow my book of business. I am asking you for the opportunity to quote you and your family and friends on any of your Car, Home, Renters, Motorcycle, Boat, Business/Workers Comp., and/or Life insurance needs. Farmers Insurance is a multi-line industry leading company with many available discounts, and in 90% of my business so far, I've been able to meet or beat my clients current insurance prices while providing more coverage. I am currently striving for a goal that if I can hit, will enable me to take my agency to the next level. I am requesting your help in obtaining this much needed goal. I only need a few minutes of your time either on the phone or in person to get some quotes ready for you. Let's just see if I can get you better coverage’s while reducing your current rates and then go from there. I can be reached on my cell at 949-302-5551 or you can contact me on my web site at http://www.farmersagent.com/bfrank or my email at bfrank@farmersagent.com
I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact me anytime. Thanks in advance for your support!
God Bless,
Billy Frank

Please continue to pray for him, this has been extremely difficult for Michael. He is very sad and just doesn't want to deal with this anymore. Understandable, but we have to continue on the path.

My wife won't drive up or Down there again!

A few years back I borrowed my buddies class A R/V for vacation after going all around the Bishop with the family. I thought I'd show her Kennedy Meadows.OK heres the story on the way down the brakes failed completely after I rounded the last corner. Prayed!! Then emergency brakes didn't work I shifted into 1st from 2nd.This was an older R/V I turned off the engine and I was running off the back compression of the engine/like a jake brake.I was coasting 45-60 mph. as I approached the #395 I was slowing down to about twenty and just pulled into the dirt it slowed to a stop.So I was going slow I did not go fast I let others pass. When brake fluid boils your brakes just go there No warning! So heres what I would suggest have you brakes inspected change out you brake fluid to a higher DOT 5 or higher to race race formula like #6 that boils at a higher point.Pull over and stop and let the brakes and fluid cool down for 45 min or longer.

Meltdown is a great example of what can be accomplished when the body of Christ comes together (and works together). We received many compliments on the event from the racers and their families and of course the greatest benefit is what God is doing in the hearts of the racing community. Someday in the Kingdom of God we'll find out whose life was changed because we labored for two days in the dust and heat, It's a sacrifice made bearable (and sometimes fun) because of the great group of people who make up this club. Thanks for contributing your time, talents and treasured spirits to the cause of Christ in the desert.

The Vikings Race was a great one. We had 21 racers, only 3 DNF's and no injuries. (Praise the Lord). Also the most pit help ever. Thanks everyone for a great day. Congratulations to Cole Sanders for finishing First Novice overall. Way to go!
See you all at Badgers.

I have 500 tickets to the San Diego Supercross. The Fellowsip ministry at my church (Calvary Chapel Menifee) is holding signups. since I am a member of R.U.T.S. I thought that I would also open the invitation to you guys. These tickets are in V3 and V10 sections rows 5-18. If these tickets sell out It is possible that I can get some more. But I wouldn't bank on it. the tickets are normally a $24 ticket plus a $6 processing fee and an extra $10 for a pit pass for a grand total of $40. I was able to get these tickets for a total cost of $12 each (children and adults are the same price and this ticket includes a pitpass). We will also be tailgating. I want to go hang out with other christians and be a light in a dark world. If you would like to come hang out with us please let me know. you can e-mail me at Tripsider@yahoo.com or call for more info (951)757-0978

A few people asked this weekend about Big Bear Joe. I just pulled this info off the D-37 message board:

"Joe has now been off the ventilator for three days and is doing very well. I talked with him on the phone, guess what, we talked about Dakar. Stacey told me that he will be out of the ICU possibly tomorrow and will be leaving for Washington as soon as next week. If anyone wants to see him you might think about going soon. Joe actually wants to see some folks before he leaves so now is the time."

The Myers are selling their home and moving to Washington to be close to other family members. Please keep this in prayer as well as the fact that Joe is still not able to move his arms or legs.

We had a great time last weekend at Fremont despite the big mud puddles. We want to give out a very BIG thankyou to Will Eikenberry for pulling out those of us who got stuck in the mud. He generously used his truck to pull out others, including us. He pulled our truck and trailer out with his dodge still hooked up with his 40ft fifth wheel, while going in reverse. I know he helped others out also, whithout hesitation. Thanks Will!!

If I am not mistaken the club ride this month @ Freezemont will include a general club meeting on Saturday night @ 6:30, as it did at Anderson in September. I also believe that a POTLUCK desert was mentioned to also take place that evening. I write this so that NOBODY forgets to bring a desert, since it is indeed my very favorite meal!

See you and your deserts next week!
Scott Burnett .......and Cari(the best desert making around! as my waistline will attest to)..she will likely bring two or three of her favorite deserts. Yummy!

I'm sorry to hear about Big Bear Joe. We will keep him and his family in our prayers. If there is anything we can do besides prayer, please post it.

Thanks again,

Hi guys, update on Jerry Neal. Apparently the pile up of 25 or so bikes was in a sand wash and Jerry was involved. Jerry broke his Tibia Plateau (sp?) which is a bone that comes from your ankle and into your knee. The doctor is talking about surgery although Jerry is in a cast right now. He is home, resting fairly comfortably, but anxious about what this means to his work situation.

Art stopped to help and had apparently hurt himself earlier (something about his back). James hurt his arm pretty bad but still managed to drive his truck home while his lovely wife Cecelia helped get Rich's truck home so Rich could drive Jerry's home. Have Jerry or Rich tell you the story of how the Lord orchestrated everything with vehicles and transportation home. It is was a blessing.

I also hear Dave Beaumont was in first overall position when his bike seized and he spent several hours stuck out on the course until Joe King and Brian Beaumont came to the rescue.

Please cover our brothers and sisters in prayer (wifely support in situations like this is always important). Pray for medical wisdom, healing, patience, peace and guidance.

And if anyone else hears anything more specific please let us know!
