Randy,
I am in 100% agreement with you. We have been to Fremont over New Years weekend 7 times in a row...Its almost always wet to some degree. Having 3-5 days of dry weather BEFORE the ride means a "WONDERFUL" drive in ...to me.

Raining the day of the drive in (Wednesday) wont make things that difficult. The riding will be PHENOMINAL! 4 years ago (or was it 3?) there were 4 days of rain in the 5 days leading up to New Years weekend and a few people had to put the pedal to the floor through some larger puddles, but I think everybody made it safe and sound. I know the Mills had a hard time that year, but then again they have a 69,000 lbs tractor trailer motorhome with a 34,000 pull behind trailer. I would be hesitant as well with his rig.

For the rest of you...pack up your rainboots, bring your dryed our Christmas tree and lets makes some great new memories!!

Tom Moore is going through extra effort to mark in TWO separate entrances so that everybody can attend. Please dont let the "POTENTIAL" mud puddles slow you down. You might regret it when we come home and tell you that the road was dry, the lake was dry, and the riding was awesome!
