We have found that have a captain and co-captain for each loop makes the job easier and of course 2 heads are better than one! Start thinking about who would be a good c0-captain to assit you on loop A next year.
George! You got it! We can make you a road crossing captain next year, no problem. There will be a road crossing somewhere, there always is.
Thanks for the tip on Kieth stringfellow. I will ask him if he is interested in that role for next year.
Im SUPER big on trying to put our RUTS members in a role that will utilize thier strengths! Some will stay in the role they were in this year, and some will change. In this way. Meltdown will continually get better ane better. Change might not be because they SUCKED at what they did, but because thier strenght was discovered and would be better utilized in another location.
Serving the Lord with your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experience (SHAPE) is how Meltdown will continue to be succesful. I keep a close eye on each members gifts throughout the year and try very hard to put each person in a place that uses thier SHAPE.
EXAMPLE: Art Whitney at Sound Check, Rocky at the kids race, The Halls at Signups, Julie at the Raffle, and Danny flipping burgers...need I say more?
