Hey Em,
I don't know if you've already solved your tulip question, but here's an answer for you. You can cut the flower off, but you need to let the stem "die back". Then you can lift it out of the pot and clean any loose membrane or dead material from it let it dry for a day or so and according to the book I have "dust it with fungicide and place them in paper bags or envelopes in a dry cool, but frost free place. Then plant it outside in the fall if you want.

Elisa know you're in our prayers as well.

We're struggling along over here. We're hoping, hoping that 1, Wade finds a permanent job (he lost his in January) and 2 my brother and sister-in-law are able to buy a little farm north of town so we can rent the house they're currently in. It would be sooo lovely to not know what our neighbors are doing all the time. :) It also has a great yard and we would really, really like to garden and my little guy who loves to be outside would have a real yard to play in!
In the meantime I've been cooking (it's just starting to get a little warm here) playing with Britt, my little guy. He's walking now which is very exciting. We also go outside as much as possible and it's so fun to watch him discover his world.
I honestly don't do much besides run to doctor's offices and feed and play with Britt. We do go over to Gram's often (Wade's mom) and we just found out that she has lung cancer and as she's 81 and still feeling ok she doesn't want to pursue treatment. So we have to take advantage of the time we have with her.
We have a hard time making it to church as Britt's feedings take too long and are right at the beginning. I teach RS once a month and that's really nice. Fun for me to sneak away for a bit and it's really good for my relationship with Wade. I think better outloud so he's a good sounding board.
Well I'd better get going. It's fun to hear how everyone's doing. You know it's funny I thought getting married and having kids would somehow change my life so that I would feel totally different and somehow fit into a world that seems to revolve around those things. The interesting thing is that it didn't. I'm still "unfit" somehow only now I don't have anything to point to as the reason and feel weird talking about the things in my life knowing how I felt before. Anyway, it really is great to hear from everyone. Love Chiska
