No it's not an excellent point. =P Even if most people don't download anime, there's still a HUGE number of people who do. Especially with p2p programs making it a lot easier, as Pasha says. And the people who do download anime are some of the heaviest anime-watchers out there, which means the anime industry takes a bigger hit from losing their business.
