AFF - ABOLISH FORDHAM FOOTBALL!!!
Hey, I heard you missed us, WE'RE BACK!

1. THERE IS NO FOOTBALL TEAM. The actual team was abolished in 1954. It was then revived as Club Football 10 years later in 1964. In all honesty it is STILL a club. A club reserved for spoiled, obnoxious little boys

2. THEY SCREWED VINCE. Fordham never had Vince Lombardi as coach, he was given an assistant position but never head coach. His wife said it always hurt him for the rest of his life.

3. WHY WASTE MORE MONEY? Expenses for the team is over $2 -3 million per year. Revenue is less than $500,000 per year. (these are estimates. exact figures to be determined)

4. MOST OF THE PLAYERS ARE JERK-OFFS. The way many players conduct themselves on/off campus is embarrasing to the other students. This is the only matter that can be explored on a case to case basis. (team grade point average to be determined)

5. NOBODY CARES ABOUT FORDHAM FOOTBALL (EXCEPT FOR EX-PLAYERS AND PARENTS). Attendence at games is sad and even when the weather is nice and the team is winning, no one cares.

Zero Win Seasons: 1883,1885,1946,1979,1980,1994,1999. Any thoughts on this matter?

Nice game out of Fordham Football.

I especially live the "never say die" attitude this team exhibits.

James Prydatko has been worked far too hard in mid week practices this year

I have dreams in the midst of fall
watching leaves flutter from tree tops so tall
Graceful and good these leaves decline
and thoughts interuppted by a football team's swine
Amidst atumn splender and early winter chill
A football team plays with no heart and no will
Pumpkins brilliant orange, apples so fresh
a team of losers and new football coach who dont mesh
The late afternoon shadows and golden sun's splendor
Fordham Football gets crushed like a rusted car fendor
A saturday afternoon raking leaves
and Fordham Football drunks, knees bent with dry heaves
Summer now over offers greetings to cold winter's air
and Fordham Football with only dispair
Animals gather like and autumns times past
and a subpar D1-AA team finishing last
The trees grow barren, the branches are bare
Look at Jack Coffey's bleachers... no one is there
Players are quitting & their vain parents complain
and $3 million dollars wasted that no one can explain
But with changing season comes new light and growth
Is Fordham football bad or just lazy?
My answer is: both
Last week Colgate, this week Bucknell
and a Fordham Football shows up and does not play well

It's time for abolishment

came up with a little football performance equation. rushing yds + passing yds + return yds - yards lost to sacks and penalties.
colgate - 498 yds
fordham - 58 yds

Supporters of Fordham Football are defined by 3 categories:

1) Abusive, Lazy, Fat, Drunken, Drug Abusing, Subpar D1-AA players

2) Delusional, Self-Angrandizing and Boastful Parents

3) Mysoginistic Alumni who are somehow trying to re-live their "glory days" by unduely praising the current crop of terrible football players in an effort to ultimately try to enhance their own past.

All three of these elements combine to create an extensive track record of losing seasons, off-campus fights, subpar grades and weakened Fordham University overall.

Below is a post from category 2 (A delusional and unduely boastful parent):

I preface these comments, by providing a short synopsis of the current situation of Fordham Football. This year we have a new coach. THe old coach resigned at the end of last year after Fordham Football lost 41-0 to Albany on Jack Coffey Field. This year, the upperclassman, led by James Prydatko who complained to a reporter in the Daily News that he and his teamates had to work too hard in practice last year. The parents of these players assumed that their sons would be playing this year by virtue of their age. This new coach sees no value in the players he inherited and has benched them. The parents of these players cant believe this and are furious. In their heads they believe that their son (who gets drunk every night and dogs it in practice everyday) is a D1 caliber player who didn't get proper recognition in high school and who's star was really going to shine at Fordham.

From that mindset comes the following post on the Fordham Football board (Enjoy!):

"Masella came into a situation much more like Notre Dame or USC, where the talent was there, the kids were good kids looking to win, they just couldn't put it together."

[> Re: Week 7 PL Pick'Em -- The Lone Haranguer, 20:18:43 10/13/06 Fri [1]

Bucknell at Georgetown - Bucknell is so far down on the depth chart at several key positions that Bobby Boucher is suiting up. GTown has a legitimate shot in this game. I'm going with the upset. Georgetown 24 Bucknell 21

Holy Cross at Dartmouth - HC is the only PL team with an overall winning record. They are the team to beat in the PL right now and if they don't win the title they will be a major spoiler. Crusaders take the Green 28-14

Lehigh at Yale - This ought to be a good game, but infidels beat Yale, home of the boola-boola mullah. Loser has to wear a burka. Lehigh 28-17

Lafayette at Harvard - The 'Pards are in such a funk you'd think George Clinton was the coach. Is that the Tower of Power horn section in the backfield? Bootsie Collins calling signals? Are the cheerleaders the Brides of Funkenstein? How can you go against Harvard in this one? Harvard 35-24. Get down y'all.

Colgate at Cornell - Be worried Raider fans, be very worried. The Cornell coach has been asking everybody in Ithaca to only enter their houses through the front door. One of his player's mothers is into some kind of, I think, voodoo. Or maybe it's a zen thing. Either way, he's a conjurin' some mojo for the Big Red. Both teams suffer from inexperience, but Cornell's is at more key positions. Therefore, Colgate wins 24-21.

Marist at Fordham - Please, Fordham. Don't screw this one up. Shut up those dicks at AFF. Fordham wins 35-14.

This piece of pornography is from the Fordham Football board:

Ram 83:
"One thing I saw at Saturday's game tells you all you need to know about Daniels. After Skelton threw the INT, Daniels walked over to Skelton, put his arm around him, and spoke to him. That's leadership."

In all likelyhood: the two were talking about where the team was going to get drunk and act like misfits after the game.

From the Fordham Football Board

"*Why didn't Prydatko go for the end zone on that shovel pass where he just walked out of bounds on the 2 instead of at least attempting to bowl in there? That was a critical play and a critical mistake imo. Not something we're used to seeing from him and I'm open to someone giving more info that might explain it a bit better. fordham qb skelton played a "wonderful" game completing just over 50% of his passes, 11 for 21 with 1 int, for an incridible 159 yards... "great effort". he by far outplayed duquesne's knapp who went 35 for 48 for 363 yards, 3td.
fordham secondary played with a lot of "heart".
fordham's O-line played a real "gutsy" game, allowing 6 sacks for a loss of 45 yards.
prydatko really came through (now that the practices are easier) grinding out 48 yards.
abolishment...soon.

As you may already know, Fordham Football once again embarrassed the University with their performance this weekend by getting beaten into a pulp by Holy Cross (21-3 at one point). Of course this did nothing to stop the undue praise. The following are actual posts (or are the boasts?). WARNING: you may not want to read this with a full stomach:

from Air Ram:
"This was what Fordham football should be about. I have never seen a crowd so accepting of a loss. The 80 year old guy sitting behind us said "this was worth the trip".

Air Ram then goes on to try to blame the referees for Fordham's embarrassing performance:
"Officiating: Aweful. These guys gave HC two traps that lead to two first downs I hope the patriot league reviews the officiating because that was not good.

Undue Praise at Wide Receiver:
"Daniels was exceptional at reciever. He made a great catch and two others were amazing but he came down out of bounds"
FOR THE RECORD: Daniels has 1 catch. Since when is that exceptional? Only in the perverted world of Fordham Football.

Fordham Football's Effort in the loss gets praise from JohnG92:
"- overall, a very entertaining game, and a Fordham team that gave it 100% for 60 minutes."
FOR THE RECORD: Fordham was down 21-3 at one point. Some effort!

Fordham Football Sucks, so of course let's blame the fans:
Nutmeg: "Fordham turnout was no more than 500 in a crowd of 9,600. Also, why no FU band members or cheerleaders? "
FOR THE RECORD: why would cheerleaders or anyone or thata matter support these bums?

From the Players' Perspective: (from Air Ram)"I heard Daniels say after the game "This team is ready to make some noise!".
FOR THE RECORD: the "noise" Daniels was no doubt referring to was at a bar that evening where the team was no doubt going to be a loud, drunk, belligerent and unruly disgrace. Just stand on the street corner outside a bar at 3am you'll hear Fordham Football making some "noise".

Undue Praise at Quaterback:
" I believe that if Jordan can get time to pass, he is going to be great in this offense."
"Jordan seemed very poised and composed for the game. "
"T.J. Jordan has a lot of moxie, is VERY tough, can move around well and throws a nice ball"
FOR THE RECORD: Jordan completed 7 of 19 passes. Since when is 7 of 19 "great", "poised", "tough" or an example of "moxie"?

Recap: this team of losers were praised for their "effort", "moxie" and "greatness" after they embarassed themselves at Holy Cross this Saturday. Glad to see their effort was their. Afterall this team is all about effort, right? Just look at this blurb and quote from their coach in the Staten Island Advance:

"We were about even talent-wise with Monmouth," he said, "but I honestly thought we were better than Columbia." Which is quite a statement since Columbia won 37-7."

There you have it folks. That's Fordham Football Ladies and Gentlemen. In all its glory

You guy's read that post by amazed. He offered to kill Opinion Jones. I had to re-read that a few times. I am amazed at "Amazed".

Ladies and gentleman, "Amazed" must be a real life gangsta. No doubt toughened on the mean confines of Jack Off field.

What happened in your life "Amazed" that lead you to where you got your gun and your Dirty Harry attitude?

-Was it your "co-championship"?
(which by the way is impossible)

-Was Rich Marrin too drunk to pat you on the back and gwisper undue praise at you during a gridiron club dinner?

-Were your midweek practices too hard? (thank you James Prydatko)

-Was the pizza you and the rest of your football teamates stole at the school-sponsored pep rally for the football team too cold or not plentiful enough, were there enough napkins for you to steal along with the pizzas?

-Were the empty stands that were there for every football game you played in or sat on the sidelines for too much for one man to carry around?

-Did you feel rushed while you and your other obnoxious teamates sat don to eat at the cafeteria?

-Was the table that only the football team ate at, in the very caftereria which was socially divided (in half) by the football team, too small for your portions?

-Do you feel abandoned by too many football coaches who were left or fired over the past decade (at least 5 maybe 6 times) to ever trust anyone again?

-When you looked up into the stands and did not see one interested classmate other than a few girls with low self esteem did you want to cry?

-Were those T-Shirts that read: "Respect" Too much to live up too?

-Was the free meal plans, books, study halls,, and $3 million dolllars in wasted budget not enough for your fragile ego?

-Did you feel you didn't belong with the rest of your teeamates or peers as you strolled to class with your dirty t-shirt, maroon sweatpants, back pack strapped over both shoulders with sandals on your feet?

-Did you not cause enough mayhem for the people who live near campus that have to wake up in the morning while you and your football teamates were being loud, drunk, and looking for fights?

-Or maybe, just maybe you know deep down that Fordham Footabll is a fraud, and that one day, when enough people speak up, Fordham Football will be abolished.

Any how, I'd love to hear more about you, afterall you are a real gangster and was at one time a geniune, non-scholarship D-IAA football player , who never once played against an actual D1 program, but never-the-less waltzed around pretending that in this perverse display that is now Fordham Football you actually played football for the same school that Vince Lombardi came from.

Two Weeks into the 2006 season
And Fordham Football Has Peaked
A 9-7 victory against Albany they squeaked
………
But there’s been no shortage of embarrassing developments
This much I stress
Including last week’s Daily News coverage in the New York press
What a fright it is to see a 5th year senior running back with ball
Squealing like a rat to the press, like a tabloid tell-all
Poor James Prydatko says: “Coach Foley made last year’s practices too hard”
Then the team gets the ball on offense and can’t gain a yard
I wonder if James knows that Foley gone. That his complaints are too late
After all it’s gonna take this kid 5 years to graduate!
You’d think last year’s 2-9 record would make the team humble & ashamed
Not so, just read the Daily News-it’s poor Foley who’s blamed
……..
Look at what happened the first game of this year
A loss to Monmouth at home (26-9) and no reason to cheer
All of last year’s memories came flooding right back
After the team (down 17) got a penalty for celebration after a sack
………
Do you think the team is studying or reviewing plays at night?
They are out at the bars trying to start fights
You think the poor performance and fired coach would make them meek
Yet some go out of their way to pick on the weak
You think this is poem outrageous? Full of lies?
I’m telling you the truth , I’ve seen it with my own eyes
………
I hate that this team and that it thinks it is tough
And then schedules games against opponents that are all cream puff
The team has some bad guys. Some no good punks
And a gridiron membership comprised of fat drunks
I could go on because this falls on deaf ears
But the team will be abolished one of these years
………
Know this much regardless of what weak school Fordham plays…
The Abolishment of Fordham Football is here to stay
