It feels really nice to know that there a lot of people on this board that have been on this path for a substantial amount of time. Each post in itself is remarkable. There is so much that I did not know (and still don't) about kriya and other related things. So, here I go again with my questions. I would appreciate inputs/suggestions.

When I sit for meditation, I sit in sukasana (or the half lotus/padmasana). I put a pillow under my tailbone and that keeps the back pain away. I can't sit in padmasana as my feet just hurt too much, especially my ankles. Also, because of this I am not able to sit for longer medatations. I max out at around 45-50 mins (in sukasana), with leg stiffness and back pain. Is there anyway to go around this? I have also tried a chair, but I fall asleep and my head drops. I have noticed a lot of PY's disciples did a lot of yoga. Does he have any work/book on Hatha Yoga? Are there any good books that I can use, to overcome this so I can sit for longer meditations? Have any of you come across this problem? How did you go around it? Would really appreciate your inputs in this.
