I believe 'milking' is lengthening of the tongue by pulling it in a motion akin to milking a cow. Lahiri Mahasaya was strongly against the practice of milking the tongue or cutting the fraenum as a means to achieve Kechari. As far as I know I have never heard that Paramhansaji counseled these methods either.

What is the role of the pituitary gland in a yogi's spiritual evolution? Did Paramhansaji discuss this in any of his writings?
