I've found that for my wrists to release naturally by centrifugal force, my wrists need to be in a "releasable" position at the top of the backswing. I developed the feeling by trial and error. I looked at my wrists at the top of the backswing and tried to make them look like the golfers on TV. Most of them have a similar wrist position. In the downswing I make sure there is no tension in my arms, wrists, or hands at all. After awhile I found something that worked pretty well.

It's one of the few things I think of during my swing. I start the backswing by moving club and arms in one piece with head completely still, this done by rotating the upper body. Top of the backswing, wrist feeling? Check. Relax arms, wrists, hands completely. Rotate upper body towards the ball so that I feel I'm hitting the ball with my right shoulder. This is all I think about, and it's all based on feeling. Lately I've been seeing excellent results.
