Received clubs today. Dinner and off to the range with 8,7,and 6. Small bucket(50-60). No way they are going back. Feel great, look good, nice grips.
Hope the below is clear enough
50% 8 iron, 25% each with the 7 and 6.Only 5 or 6 real bad mishit evenly split
8 iron= 150-155, 50% straight&sweet, balance of the ball were good/decent contact but pushed right
7=160-165 25% straight&sweet, pushing the rest right, good/decent contact
6=170-175 same results as 7
Read on and you'll understand why I am super happy with the above!
Virtually quit golf (Im 56) till I saw these on line. All the theory made perfect sense, logical. At my best low/mid 90's(lifetime ago). Last 20 yrs a 110-115 rarely play hacker. This could now be interesting!
Last time to the range/club in hand, was a year ago,out of town, borrowed clubs, 90% mishits.
Last time playing was at least 4 years ago, time before that probably 2 yrs.
Going to try and grove a swing...a SINGLE swing. BTW 3 wood is 5" longer than irons...feels nice in hand(no drivers in stock, couldn't buy). Bought 3-PW,+SW, +3wood.
I'll check in end of summer.
