Meanwhile, no weapons of mass destruction have turned up, but 1,500 American men and women won't be coming home. Nearly half the soldiers serving there now are part-time National Guardsmen; we've learned that Dubya's "screw diplomacy, let's invade 'em and deal with the consequences later" war planning has helped to set the U.S. government into its deepest deficit yet... aka the "birth tax."

We've learned that our actions against Iraq have done little to phase Irans and North Koreas of the world; in fact, they realize our military is stretched thin (as we were told by our OWN military intelligence, not the military's "CEO" Don Rumsfeld, as well as the head of the National Guard. They're daring us to go into Iran and/or North Korea. And they know we can't spare the people to do it. All because we've dedicated our military, our tax dollars, towards rebuilding a nation we didn't have to dismantle to begin with.

We're spending more money in Iraq than we are on our own educational system; we're spending more money on Iraq than we are to provide healthcare to those who need in the United States. To those who say "it's not our job to take care of everybdoy," I ask, why's it our job to care of EVERY Iraqi, but not EVERY American?

Now we're learning that the heraled social security savior-plan won't, in fact, save social security; now we're learning that maybe we ought to be raising (uh, "read his lips") payroll SS taxes to cover the losses.

Now we're learning that the January '05 jobs growth report came in UNDER projections, showing what could be an economic slowdown.

Now we've learned of THREE columnists/opinion-writers who've been paid to promote the G.W.Bush agendfa through their media positions.

We've learned that the Talon News Agency (who the hell are they, anyhow?) had a "reporter" with full credentials working at the White House, tossing McClellan and Dubya himself SOFTBALLS at press conferences. We also learned this guy owned gay porn websites and was, himself, a male escort.

Sounds like things are about right in the world.

If any of the above-scenarios were on Clinton in the '90s, there'd be pressure from the Gingrichs and Limbaughs of the world to appoint special prosecutors to indict.
