I'd like to stick my oar in as someone from a 'big' uni who has in the past been A-team (waltz, since you ask). There is no way my latin has ever been up to making semis at BCD latin (I was once described as looking like a 'spider on speed'). I'm certainly not up to doing A-latin - so please don't assume that just because we're from a 'big' uni we're any different in our flaws! I wish I were better at latin, but I ain't! So either no dispensations or have them for all of us, please. :)
