I was shocked and saddened to hear that the time allowed to perform Offbeat routines has been cut so radically.

I have competed 10 times in the last six years at SUDA at IVDA and I have passionately enjoyed every performance I participated in.

I had not realised the depth of ill-feeling towards the Offbeat competition.

I personally do not recognise the description of this year's Offbeat routines in the previous posts.

I felt that the offerings I saw this year were the strongest I have ever seen.

As my team (Cambridge) came 10th of 14, I can assume only that ours was one of the poor/dull routines criticised above, which I find really quite rude & hurtful.

I can only hope that you will reconsider the current amendment cutting the length of the Offbeat routine, as I would greatly miss the annual events of competing in the Offbeat routines at SUDA and IVDA.

Sam
