 got cold here in grove city,ohio last week,but this week its in the 60,s.had to replace some of my rail fence in the front yard and discovered that the rails are poplar when i was cutting them up.saved some good chunks,and cut some strips on my table saw.great cream and green color.got one glued up this morning.used hard maple end blocks,and going to use a crabapple base and curly cherry paddle.finished a hickory and chestnut box last week,and am working on the chestnut paddle today.seem like im enjoying call making more than deer huntin rite now.our turkey bow season is in now and im trying to make it out a few days,see ya later,dan
